Lower Moss Wood Educational Nature Reserve and Wildlife Hospital
School visits are aimed at primary school children where they will walk with the Warden, Ray Jackson and discover what birds and animals are living in or visiting the reserve.
In the morning they will learn to sing like the birds and become animal detectives and discover the clues that wildlife leave behind. They will also hear enchanting stories about the animals and plant life within the woods.
In the afternoon they will get to go pond dipping!!
Pond dipping is an easy enjoyable activity for all children and adults to get involved in! Exploring beneath the surface of the water and discovering an unseen world of amazing wildlife. There are all sorts of interesting creatures living in our pond.
